starting at 7am.

Be ready to experience the sights, sound and smells of the

amazing landscape we about to traverse in one of our rugged, yet extremely
comfortable and well cared for 4wd coaches.

We will be traveling through Undoolya Station, the first

cattle station in our region, established 1872 where you will learn about
cattle station operations of yesteryear, and how they operate today, along with
the history of Alice Springs' amazing and very important role in establishing
communications to the rest of the world.

As we travel though the ranges, you will get an idea of the

conditions the earliest settlers would have faced, and the long distances
travelled by foot with camels, horses and donkeys. The descendants of these
animals still roam the country today.

We will be stopping at Corroboree Rock to explore some of

the history of our indigenous heritage and use of the lands. We also visit to
Trephina Gorge for a morning walk while the light is still on the cliffs and
some morning tea, with a visit to the oldest and largest Ghost gum tree in the
world (according to Aaron Pederson).

We then take to the dirt roads for much of the rest of the

day Stopping at Arltunga Bush Pub for an early lunch. Then on to explore Arltunga  (Northern Territories first town) gold fields
where we take in some of the historic walks Joker Gorge and the Great western mine with an
amazing hand dug cave, then on to old government works where the gold was processed.
From here we make our way back to Alice Springs enjoying the late light on ranges
as we travel.

This is a brand-new tour to Central Australia and has been

made possible with the hard work and efforts of Brad and Belinda, our hosts at
Arltunga Bush Pub, to service this amazing region with a beautiful relaxing
venue.

Bring your togs (swim wear) and leave the crowds behind,

this is a largely untouched region, rarely visited by the vast majority of
tourists. Truly not to be missed.
